VICKIE HAS NOW FOUND HER FOREVER HOME.
It is with great thought and prayer that I have decided to no longer raise Standard Poodles. And it took even more heartache to decide to let them go to find new, and wonderful forever homes.
Yes, Vickie is still this red! She is one of the rare red Standard Poodles that has the nonfading gene...a dream of mine! She is sweet, cuddly, and a friend to all dogs and people. She has been a house dog/pet since she came here at 8 weeks of age. She has the protective alert bark when someone is at the door, but quiets down quickly and willingly accepts all who enter. She is on the small, lighter side. She would do well with any other dog of any sex or size because she is very accepting and docile. She would need to go to a family that has children because she adores all the attention. However, if someone were home most of the time, ie. works out of the home or retired, that would work as well. We have always been at home with her, as I homeschooled 5 children. She sleeps with one of my children. She is only used to loving, positive training. She is three and is very well behaved.
Vickie is too young for her hip tests. However, at this time she tested DM normal, NEws clear, and had her eyes CERF'd
Vickie is dark red in color.
